DefiCO2 aims to bring together a broad scientific community working on the subject of CO₂ capture and transformation: chemists, physicists, sociologists, economists... The interdisciplinary meetings allow to get to know each other, to understand the work carried out by other disciplines, and to be enriched by it.

DefiCO2 also wishes to train its community, and this by organizing scientific seminars and training.

Finally, DefiCO2 wishes to participate in the societal debate on the subject of CO₂, through the popularization of current research, participation or organization of events for the general public.
